Ms. Marie Proctor, OLF STREAM teacher, will be honored at an awards luncheon at the Great Southern Club in Gulfport.

Funded by Hancock Whitney, the Leo W. Seal Innovative Teacher Grants recognize outstanding educators with grants that help pay for creative and innovative projects that complement curriculums and bring subjects to life for their students. This is the 24th year that the bank, in partnership with the Gulf Coast Community Foundation has honored teachers with Seal awards.  Each winner receives a grant of up to $2000 and a crystal award recognizing their achievement.

Ms. Proctor submitted a grant titled “Faith, Family and Community”.  The board recognized her efforts and awarded her with a $426.36 grant.
