OLF Tailgate Party Huge Success

Our Lady of Fatima Elementary opened their school year with their 4th annual Tailgate Party held at Donal Synder Community Center in Biloxi.  This year’s event included 8 tailgating tents featuring our favorite football teams including Alabama, Miss St, New Orleans Saints, Northwestern, St. Patrick High School, USM, and the U.S. Armed Forces.  Each tent cooked up a specialty tailgate item ranging from shrimp dishes, bbq, brats to dish deep pizza.  Along with the food and drink, guests were entered into a $3,500 drawdown and danced the night away to the entertaining Bag of Donuts.  “This event just keeps growing by leaps and bounds” Principal Cindy Hahn, said during the event.  “We had our largest number of tents, greatest number of ticket sold, and raised more money (over $18,000) for the school than years past.   I want to thank the Fatima parents, friends, and the local community for their overwhelming support of this event”.
