The crisp January air will buzz with excitement as the Catholic Schools Basketball league prepares to launch its second full season in the MAC. The Falcons, with their wings spread wide, will be ready to soar into action.
The Falcons Minis, a co-ed team of spirited 2nd graders, will kick off the season. They’ll face Nativity on Tuesday and Holy Trinity on Thursday, both games starting at 5:30 PM. Coaches Chris Donahue and Tabatha Riccardi will lead this enthusiastic group.
The Falcons Junior Boys Blue team, comprised of energetic 3rd graders, will also be on the court. They’ll face off against Resurrection White on Monday and Resurrection Blue on Tuesday, with both games at 7:00 PM and 6:15 PM respectively. William Downs and Jason Rider will coach this determined squad.
The Falcons Junior Boys White team of 4th graders will have their turn in the spotlight. They’ll compete against Holy Trinity on Tuesday at 7:00 PM and Resurrection Blue on Thursday at 6:15 PM. Randy and Lauren McCrory will guide this excited team.
The Falcons Junior Girls team will be a force to be reckoned with. This combined squad of 3rd and 4th graders from Fatima, Nativity, and Sacred Heart will take on Coast Episcopal on Tuesday and St. Alphonsus on Thursday, both games at 6:15 PM. Coach Todaro and Coach Viglianco will lead this united team.
The Falcons Senior Girls team, consisting of 5th and 6th graders, will be eager to prove themselves. They’ll face Coast Episcopal on Wednesday at 6:15 PM and Holy Trinity on Thursday at 5:30 PM. Tabatha Riccardi will coach this determined group.
Lastly, the Falcons Senior Boys team of 5th and 6th graders will round out the Falcons’ lineup. They’ll battle against Coast Episcopal on Monday at 7:00 PM and Resurrection on Thursday at 7:00 PM. Jamie Arm will lead this skilled team.
These young Falcons, across all age groups, will be embarking on an unforgettable journey. Come out and join the fun. We will see you at the MAC!
