Winter Storm Watch – Tuesday 12:00 am to Wednesday 12:00 am.

We have been notified of a significant weather event that may impact our school community:

Winter Storm Watch

A blast of Arctic air is set to arrive in South Mississippi on Sunday, bringing frigid temperatures in the 30s and 40s along with breezy north winds of 15-25 mph. By Monday morning, wind chill values along the Gulf Coast could plummet to the teens. We’re expecting pipe-bursting freezes from Sunday night through Thursday morning, so please take necessary precautions to protect your home. Additionally, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Coastal Mississippi, as the risk for a winter storm that could cause travel impacts along the Gulf Coast is increasing for Tuesday and Wednesday.
