OLF Elementary held their graduation ceremony on Friday outside under the magnificent oak trees of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. The twenty-two graduating sixth graders put on their caps and gowns and sat six feet apart from each other following social distancing guidelines. Father Henry congratulated the students and gave the opening prayer followed by commencement remarks from OLF Principal, Cindy Hahn. During the ceremony, each student was introduced and presented with their individual awards and honors. As part of the OLF graduation tradition, each graduating student presented a rose to their family to thank them for their support and encouragement.
Co-Valedictorians, Dale Smith and Jericho “Jet” Johnson, each gave a commencement address congratulating their fellow classmates and wishing them success on their future journeys. While this school year was anything but ordinary, the final celebration left a big smile on the faces of the graduating students and their families.
Congratulations Class of 2020!
