Our Lady of Fatima Elementary held a special mass to celebrate Grandparents Day on Thursday, Sept 7th. The church was filled to capacity with students, parents, and honored guests – the grandparents. Father Lalo delivered a special sermon asking students to listen to their parents and especially their grandparents. After the mass, grandparents were invited to a special breakfast served by the 6th grade students. After the mass, grandparents were invited to a special breakfast served by the 6th grade students. “Young people need something stable in their lives and grandparents give them that special connection” Principal Cindy Hahn, said. “At Fatima – we are one big community and grandparents play an important role in providing a strong role model to our students.
