Friends, families, and faculty of OLF Elementary gathered at the Donal Snyder Community Center for the 6th Annual Tailgate Party to benefit the school. Over 200 plus tickets were sold for the event which featured tailgate food and drinks, a live auction, $5,000 drawdown and a special musical performance by Scooter the DJ from Orlando, FL. Patrons were able to sample delicious tailgate food in the tents featuring Auburn, MS State, New Orleans Saints, Ole Miss, and USM. St. Patrick Catholic High School also represented with a tent at the event. “This is a great event to start off the school year,” said Ms. Cindy Hahn, Principal. “This is a chance for our parents, friends, and faculty to get together and network in a fun environment. We appreciate their support of this event.” All funds raised will be used to purchase additional laptops for the classroom.
