While students and faculty were distance learning, the administration of OLF Elementary took action to enhance the physical facilities of the campus. New touchless sink faucets were installed in all the bathrooms along with motion activated soap and paper towel dispensers.
Touchless faucets are well suited for use in educational facilities,not only for infection control but also because they:
- Encourage frequent hand-washing among students and staff
- Are easier for young students to use
- Conserve water by up to 70%
