In front of a capacity crowd at St. James, the OLF Senior Boys and Senior Girls came out on top in two well played basketball games. In the Sr Girls game, the Falcons battled a strong Nativity team and won 14 to 12. Sophia Balius hit a clutch shot in the fourth quarter to secure the win. In the nightcap, the OLF Sr Boys led from the start versus crown town rival St. James, but St. James stayed within a few points of the lead. With less than a minute remaining, St. James tied the score at 37. On the following possession, Raymond Ellis was fouled driving the lane. Raymond suffered an injury on the play so Jay Korsak stepped to the line shooting two. He made one of the two free throws including the game winner. Final score – OLF 38 St. James 37. Congratulations Falcons on a great season!
