Catholic Diocese of Biloxi Closes Schools for Remainder of the Semester

Dr. Rhonda Clark, Superintendent of Education, announced today that all Catholic schools in the Biloxi Diocese will be closed for the remainder of the semester. Our teachers will continue to provide distance learning throughout the remainder of the school year.

Earlier in the day, Governor Tate Reeves announced that MS Public Schools will be closed for the remainder of the semester. Mississippi is one of 20 states that has now closed schools for the 2019-2020 school year. Mississippi is the latest southern state to announce that public schools will be closed for the school year. Earlier, Alabama, Georgia, and Louisiana announced that they would be closed for the school year.
